At workshops, technical staffs of Bac Lieu Sub-Department of Aquaculture and farmers will discuss on issues of industrial, semi-industrial shrimp farming in the direction of sustainability, safety and responsibility. Besides, the staff will communicate and disseminate scientific – technical knowledge and sustainable shrimp farming processes. Aimed to raise people’s community awareness in the sustainable aquaculture development in next years and help farmers apply advanced aquaculture processes to produce clean products to meet consumers’ food safety requirements. Currently some aquaculture establishments are certified to meet sustainable standards (BMP, GAP, CoC) so products are recognized on quality by the authority, the price will be higher and competitiveness in export markets will be increased.
