Au Vung Co: Shrimp exports increased over 40%
(vasep.com.vn) According to Au Vung Co, the company exported 6,200 MT of shrimp, valued exports of US$ 69 million in the first 8 months of 2014. Half of exports are black tiger shrimps, and the remain are whiteleg shrimps.
South Korea is currently major market for Au Vung Co, accounting for 30% of total export turnover. The company also continues to export shrimp to the China, which has stable demand with large quantities.
Expecting to earn US$ 120 million from abroad markets, Au Vung Co strives for US$ 51 million in the last 4 months of 2014. Black tiger shrimp is accounted for 40% and the rest is whiteleg shrimp.
