Seaprodex: Net profit hit over VND70 billion in QI/2017
(seafood.vasep.com.vn) Vietnam Seaproducts., JSC - SEAPRODEX (SEA) has announced its consolidated financial statement for the first quarter of 2017. Accordingly, in the period, SEA reached VND386.56 billion in its sales; VND71.27 billion in profit after tax, of which profit to its parent company was VND68.99 billion.
As of March 31st, 2017, the total assets of SEA reached VND2,511.7 billion; Long-term investments accounted for 53.4%, reaching VND1,342.48 billion (mainly invested in joint ventures and associates). SEA's equity was recorded at VND1,941.8 billion, of which VND557 billion was undistributed.
In 2017, SEA began to make consolidated reports. In 2016, SEA reported total revenue of VND1,613.65 billion, up 20.58% from 2015; its profit after tax touched VND51.41 billion, up 14.14%.
