Saigon Food’s tenth anniversary
(vasep.com.vn) On 18th July 2013, Saigon Food Joint Stock Company (Saigon Food) celebrated its tenth anniversary in Ho Chi Minh City. For this occasion, Saigon Food’s leaders honored 10 elites, representing all workers and employees, for their contribution to the inception and development of the company.
The company was initially named as S.G Fish Company (S.G Fisco), specializing in trading food and seafood products in domestic and foreign markets. Beginning with a staff of 11 people, Saigon Food bought a processing plant with 200 workers. So far, the Saigon-based firm has owned three food processing plant equipped with modern technologies, creating 1.300 jobs.
During ten years of development, Saigon Food has overcome many difficulties to maintain its economic performance, asserting itself as a company with prestige providing good quality products. Saigon Food is running a nation-wide distribution system, meeting international standards.
The company’s food products are currently sold to many countries, including demanding market like Japan.
