IDI: Sales reached over VND4,000 billion in 2016
(seafood.vasep.com.vn) In 2016, pangasius sales of the International Development & Investment Corporation (IDI) (located in Vam Cong Industrial Complex , Lap Vo district, Dong Thap province, Vietnam) reached over VND4,047 billion
By the end of 2016, consolidated sales of IDI hit VND1,426 billion, increasing by 54.4% from 2015. In 2017, IDI will continue to expand its potential importing markets, target to rise by 16-20% over 2016 in its revenue and continue to invest in the development of concentrated areas for raw materials. The company also invest VND800 billion in its seafood processing factory. As a result, raw materials are largely supplied from the Trisedco fishmeal factory, which is the associate company of IDI. This will annually help IDI significantly save fish feed costs in its farms.
In addition, this year the premium oil product, Ranee, of the company expected to reach more importing markets in Asia and the Middle East, so IDI expects to continue to expand its presence in the food business.
