ABT: VND24 billion of profit in Jan-Jun 2016
(seafood.vasep.com.vn) Ben Tre Aquaproduct Im-Ex JSC (Aquatex Bentre - ABT) based in Ben Tre province has announced business results of QII/2016 and the first 6 months of 2016.
Accordingly, net sales of the company in QII/2016 reached VND117 billion, up 1.63% over the same period last year. However, cost of goods sold increased by 13.5% that led to post-tax profit of ABT in QII/2016 hit VND13.5 billion, down 21% year on year.
According to ABT, profits fell because cost of social insurance according to Decision No. 959 /QĐ-BHXH dated Sep 9, 2015 of Vietnam social insurance was higher than 2015, wages increased by 15%, salinity affected costs for fish farming.
In Jan-Jun 2016, net sales of ABT hit VND217 billion, profit after tax was VND24.33 billion, down from the same period last year.
