(vasep.com.vn) Department of Agriculture and Rural Development held discussions on vessel designs with five fishermen who were selected for the project.
At the end of September, 21 vessel shell designs will be publicized, among which Southern area will own 7 designs. Fishermen can use these designs free of charge. Centre and Consultancy Register Central Fisheries will make tailored designs on request but still complied with standards, said Mr. Nguyen Cong Phuong, Deputy Director of the Centre and Consultancy Register Central Fisheries, at the discussion session.
These 5 fishermen were selected to visit ship construction site in Strategic Marine in Dong Xuyen Industrial Zone, in Vung Tau.
