Khanh Hoa: seafood exports reached US$ 260 million
(vasep.com.vn) By the end of September, Khanh Hoa has exported 78,500 MT of seafood, reaching US$ 260 million, up 27% yoy in volume and 20% yoy in value.
Regarding market structure, the US accounts for 35% of total seafood exports of Khanh Hoa, followed by Japan with 25%, Europe with 20%, the Middle East with 10%. South Korea., China, Taiwan shared 10%. Local production of declined due to the lack of raw materials. Raw materials were collected from other provinces in the region, to satisfy productivity.
According to regional quality management authority, the US and Japan are reported to be the two strongest consumption markets.
