Khanh Hoa: 43,200 MT of seafood harvested
(vasep.com.vn) As stated by the People’s Committee of Nha Trang, from January to early December, over 43,200 MT of marine fish was harvested, reporting a 5.2% increase from the same period last year. In November, due to unfavorable weather conditions, only 2,064 MT of marine fish was caught.
As the weather will be detrimental in December, marine catching will not be as high as expected. The province has been actively conducting training courses to help fishermen with fishing and product preserving skills along with survival techniques in natural disasters. There are also policies supporting for fishermen.
