Estimatedly, capture output in the first half reached 1,490 thousand MT up 3.9% year-on-year. Marine capture was 1,410 thousand MT, up 4.5%.
In Phu Yen, bigeyed tuna and yellowfin capture reached 3,500 MT, reporting an increase of 1.28% over the same period last year. In Binh Dinh, tuna output was 5,089 MT, representing a gain of 1.02%. In Khanh Hoa, around 2,500 MT of tuna was caught, decreasing by 0.62% compared to the same period in 2014.
