Ben Tre: VND 54.2 billion invested in aquaculture infrastructure
(vasep.com.vn) According to Ben Tre Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, until the end of 2016 aquaculture infrastructure will be constructed in Dai Hoa Loc, Thanh Tri and Thanh Phuoc communes (in Binh Dai district) to support approximately 1,500 hectares of aquaculture farms.
The investment includes dredging 12 canals in 2 Dai Hoa Loc and Thanh Phuoc communes; building the 8-MT Giong Cui bridge; upgrading and concreting 6 routes in 2 Dai Hoa Loc and Thanh Tri, with the total investment of VND 54.2 billion.
The project when completed will ensure brackish water resource for aquaculture to ensure sustainable development.
