(seafood.vasep.com.vn) Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP) would like to thank marine product companies for their cooperation in the program of fighting against IUU fishing. After VASEP launched and sent an open letter on inviting marine product enterprises to register to participate in "Combating IUU Fishing", VASEP has been receiving a lot of attention & registration from marine product enterprises in the country wide to take part in the program "Commiting against IUU fishing".
According to the plan, in order to approve the program's Operating Regulation and Press Release, as well as launch the IUU Steering Committee under VASEP Marine Product Committee and enterprises registering to join the " Commiting against IUU fishing " ( 1st time), VASEP will hold a conference with the specific program as follows:
Time: 13:30- 16:00, 25th September 2017 (Monday);
Venue: Palace Hotel Saigon, 56 - 66 Nguyen Hue, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
Participants: Marine product companies nationwide, with representatives from The National Assembly Committee for Science, Technology and Environment, Leaders of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD), Leaders of Directorate of Fisheries (D-Fish), Departments of MARD and D-Fish, EU Union delegation in Vietnam and VASEP.
