(seafood.vasep.com.vn) Vietnam aquaculture production experienced a steady 3.4% growth in July 2024, reaching an estimated 490,700 tons.

According to a report by the Ben Tre Fisheries Sub-Department, in May 2021, the province's total aquaculture area is estimated at 2,790 hectares, up 66.6%, the total aquaculture production is estimated at 35,726 tons, an increase of 44 % compared to the same period last year.

The Mekong Delta province of Long An targets at least 60,000 tonnes of aquaculture production this year, about 2,000 tonnes higher than in 2020.
