Phu My District (Binh Dinh): Up in capture and aquaculture production

(seafood.vasep.com.vn) In the first half of this year, the capture output of Phu My district (Binh Dinh province) hit nearly 40,000 MT, up 7.78% over the same period last year.

There have been 24 ships which were new-built and put into operation in the district, therefore, the total number of vessels in the district was 1,107 ones with a total capacity of 282.2 thousand CV (an average of 255 CV / ship). Of that, there is nearly 42% of the ships with a capacity of 300CV or more.

Besides, shrimp production of the locality in the period estimated at 1,136 MT, up 441.5 tons over the same period last year.
