Vietnam will build a fishery center costing $37 million in the central coastal province of Khanh Hoa by 2015 to fulfill as part of the government’s strategy on fisheries development by 2020, the Thoi Bao Kinh Te Saigon newspaper reported Friday.

The center includes a fishing port costing $30 million, a seafood auction facility, a frozen warehouse, an ice production facility, a warehouse for raw material, a facility for fishing vessel maintenance and infrastructure for trade services.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development proposed the government list this project among those receiving Japan’s official development assistance (ODA) in the 2013-2015 period.
