Japanese investors eye on fishery industry in Mekong Delta
April 17, 2014, 04:52 PM
(vasep.com.vn) 40 Japanese companies will attend to a conference held in Can Tho city by Vietnam Embassy to Japan in cooperation with the Direction Board of Southwestern Region of Vietnam. The objective is to introduce the investment environment and potential cooperation in agricultural sector between Japan and Mekong Delta provinces.

After the conference, Japanese investors have field trips to some seafood companies in Can Tho city, Hau Giang, Dong Thap and Vinh Long provinces. This will be a great opportunity for Vietnamese seafood companies to display their business performance to attract more  investments from Japan.

Vietnam and Japan have already become strategic economic partners; therefore, Japanese companies aim to find investment potentials in the seafood producing and processing industry in Mekong Delta.
