Brazil to inspect food safety and hygiene of Vietnam seafood

(vasep.com.vn) In March 2013, the inspection delegation from Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply (MAPA) and the Brazilian Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture (MPA) visits Vietnam to inspect and evaluate food safety and hygiene conditions of Vietnam fishery.

On March 4th 2013, the delegation had an opening meeting with representatives of National Agro–Forestry-Fisheries Quality Assurance Department (NAFIQAD) in Hanoi.

From Mar 5th – 15th 2013, the delegation divided into 3 groups will visit and inspect NAFIQAD’s branches; fish processing plants; farming ponds of shrimp, pangasius, perch and tilapia; hatcheries in Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh, Can Tho, Khanh Hoa, Tien Giang and An Giang.
