October 08, 2014, 02:45 PM
(vasep.com.vn) In POR9 (from 1st Feruary 2013 – 31st January 2014), Department of Commerce (DOC) classified companies into 3 groups to determine the mandatory respondents.

In the previous periods, DOC chosed the largest exporters as mandatory respondents to calculate anti-dumping rates.

Specifically, the 2 companies in the 1st  group accounted for 40% of total export value, over 20% of export value belongs to 5 companies in the 2nd group and others are in the 3rd  group.  The computer randomly selected 1 company in each group.

At 11.pm on 3rd October 2014 (Vietnam time zone), DOC officially announced mandatory respondents , namely Minh Phu Seafood Corporation , Sao Ta Foods JSC (FIMEX VN) and Thuan Phuoc Seafoods & Trading Corp.

DOC did not allow submission of additional information after publized preliminary results. Therefore, defendants must provide complete and correct calculations and figures from the beginning.
